History

The Illini Community Health Care Foundation (ICHCF) was incorporated on January 13 of 2003 as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, the culmination of a negotiated agreement between Illini Health Care System and BlessingCare Corporation resulting in the sale of Illini Hospital. Today ICHCF is a separate entity from Illini Community Hospital, which is presently owned and operated by BlessingCare Corporation based out of Quincy, IL. Since that time ICHCF has served as a grantmaking entity funding health care initiatives within Pike County, Illinois. The mission of ICHCF is to promote and assist organizations and initiatives that positively impact the physical and emotional health of those seeking health services in Pike County, Illinois.
