Types of Support

The ICHCF accepts proposals for new as well as existing projects and programs. While a greater risk exists in supporting start-up organizations, the Foundation is willing to consider such proposals. The Foundation prefers not to be the sole funder of any one organization or program; however, the Foundation will consider supporting new activities that show promise for broader support. Grants are awarded for one year; the Foundation does not make multi-year commitments within a single funding cycle. Applicants may apply for continued support of a previously funded project. Rarely, however, will an agency receive funding for the same purpose or project for more than three years.
