| There are many ways to make gifts to Illini
Community Health Care Foundation. Careful planning can provide you with
personal and financial advantages. The most convenient ways of giving
include outright gifts of cash, securities, real property and tangible
personal property. In addition planned gifts such as charitable remainder
and lead trusts, bequests, and life estates, allow you and heirs to you
estate to enjoy the lifetime benefits of an intended gift and, at the
same time, leave a legacy to support the work of the Foundation.
Gifts to ICHCF can be unrestricted or designated for a particular purpose.
You may also establish endowed funds, which produce annual income to support
a program or project of special interest, in perpetuity.

Gift of Cash
You can deduct a contribution for income tax purposes only in the year
in which you pay it. A pledge or promissory note is not deductible until
it is paid.
Gift in Honor
All gifts for any purpose may be made to ICHCF in honor of a friend or
loved one. Tribute Giving provides an ideal way to honor those whose kindness
and love have touched our lives. Consider a Gift of Tribute as a very
special way to extend birthday, anniversary and congratulatory greetings.
Gift in Memory
All gifts for any purpose may be made to ICHCF in memory of a friend or
loved one. Memorial gifts provide an ideal way to memorialize those whose
kindness and love have touched our lives.
Gift of Tangible Personal Property
Tangible personal property such as antiques, jewelry, etc. is subject
to special IRS rules. Please contact the ICHCF office for more information

Gift of Securities
If you contribute long-term appreciated securities to the Foundation you
get a two-fold income tax benefit: a charitable deduction for the full
present fair market value, and no tax on the appreciation.
Gift of Real Estate
A present or future gift of real estate offers significant income and
estate tax savings. Please contact the ICHCF office for more information

Gift of Life Insurance
Over time, many individuals find they do not need all of the insurance
coverage they hold. If this is the case, a gift of life insurance may
be an attractive way to support ICHCF. By naming the Foundation as a beneficiary
and assigning ownership of the policy to ICHCF, you may receive an income

Annual Gifts
Annual support enables the Foundation to better the serve the healthcare
needs of Pike County, Illinois community. ICHCF has established a number
of donor societies to honor individuals who provide the generous annual
support that makes a difference in the good health of the residents of
Pike County, Illinois. All donors (with their consent), at all levels,
are recognized in our Annual Report published annually and on our Web
site.
- Benefactor: $5001 and Above Annually
- Patron: $2501 - 5000 Annually
- Friend: $2500 and Below Annually
Planned Gifts - The Heritage Society
Planned gifts enable ICHCF to plan for the healthcare needs of Pike County,
Illinois well into the future. The Heritage Society honors those
friends who have made a planned commitment to the Foundation. You will
become a member of the Heritage Society by including the Illini Community
Health Care Foundation in your estate plan in any one or more of the following
ways:
- Bequest
- Charitable Remainder or Lead Trust
- Pooled Income Fund
- Retained Life Estate
- Life Insurance
